I wish it was acceptable to call older folks out as lazy if they refuse to learn how to text, email and otherwise use the internet. On the whole it’s gone way downhill since the API fiasco in my opinion. The only thing worth a damn on Reddit nowadays is that some specific communities are better than elsewhere (sports, mental health, niche hobbies) but only because discussion boards (php) have mostly died and Facebook somehow manages to even MORE toxic as far as racism, sexism, etc.

It’s depressing. At one time Reddit on the whole as an entity (not the company, the community) was very vibrant and amazing.

1. Bought a timeshare in Vegas. Never used it. Paid the mortgage and maintenance fees for a few years then said fuckem and just stopped. Such a scam. They went out of business during the 2008 recession and it eventually fell off of our credit reports.
