He took Russia’s side in their invasion of Ukraine, which I don’t agree with, but truth is truth and he accurately describes how the media sways public opinion without outright lying.

It’s a podcast and you can listen while doing other things. 70 minutes isn’t very long.
You can deny his recent philanthropic work because his libertarian mentality corrupts it. He helped fund covid 19 vaccine research, but also demanded that the patents not be released, so profit could be made. This is in direct contrast to the lead scientist of the poli vaccine opening it up for anyone to make, comparing the ownership of a vaccine to trying to own sunlight.
While there’s evidence that Gates did not participate in Epstein’s parties, he did know about and choose to stay silent.
Gates is a full blown elite larping as a humanitarian when the role of his foundation should be occupied by a tax funded gov org.
The only crime rich people can get in trouble for is crime against other rich people. Elizabeth Holmes didn’t get in trouble for providing faulty blood tests to plebs. She got in trouble for defrauding other rich people. They’re gonna throw the book at him.
Sorry if I don’t trust the company behind fortnite or a company with tencent investments.
Gish gallops don’t work online. I only responded to the part with substance. The rest is subjective to personal perspective.
People are shitty online? Yeah, so shit. May want to focus on those private facebook groups or twitter first. Steam users can’t maintain a boycott, but lets focus on that while facebook and twitter were involved with January 6th.
You can speak freely with the other jurors during deliberation.
I’m not sure that’s true. I’ve had plenty of comments stay up. My guess is either the mod team got their shit together or those comments were deleted for other reasons.
“Remember, if you admit you knowing what Jury Nullification is during selection, you wont be picked.”
They’ve promised not to sue people sharing Unreal 1 and Unreal Tournament(1999). They can change their mind.
id Software released the source code for Doom under a specific license. This has given birth to a wealth of commercial indie titles, the most technically impressive being Selaco, build on a fork of GZDoom called Pancake Engine.
Bungie released the code and assets for their Marathon trilogy and gave birth to a still very active modding community making full fledged fan campaigns.
If Epic wanted to full commit and release the code and assets to the games, I wouldn’t be complaining.
Matt Furie protecting his copyright as part of the re-co opt efforts? That doesn’t conflict with what I have said.
Unlike the swastika, someone owns the copyright and can make moves to reclaim it.
Sounds like you need to hang out on better parts of the internet.
My friends don’t need encouragement and are grown adults. I don’t tell other people how to live.
Even if they don’t end up coming back, having a bit of passive income from renting out their house will help the with the move.
Edit: when I said they don’t need encouragement, I meant that they’re already fully committed to leaving. Not that I’m disagreeing with their actions.
I’d be damned surprised if the gun wasn’t on the bottom of the Hudson river right now.
The only exceptions I can think of are people renting out the other side of their two family house, people living outside their country for a few years, or farmers renting out houses that were already in their property.
None of these started as investments, but rather unique circumstances. I have some queer friends who are moving out of the country for a few years because of Trump, but don’t want to commit to immigration quite yet.
They aren’t the sole authority on the topic.
Pepe isn’t hate speech. It was re-co opted by the creator and I often see it in queer friendly gamer spaces. If your threshold for hate speech is a cartoon frog, you may need to recalibrate. Most people do not see it as such and do not use it as such.
I mean, by your own comment, those aren’t great things. 2 is a whataboutism and 3 is the same as giving concessions to the Nazis and lead to WWII. Concessions have already been given to Russia in regards to their previous invasions of Georgia and Crimea. Give an inch and they’ll take a mile.
Regardless of Chomsky’s stance on Russia and NATO though, he still describes media manipulation acutely. He just has a huge blind spot for when Russia is doing it
