You referred to distribution, so I assumed you meant per capita. It’s obviously wildly disproportionate in distribution, but per capita would be the fair comparison to the wealth of other nations.
Yes they must have it tough living in one of the richest countries in the world.
Just because it’s the richest country on the planet doesn’t mean the wealth is spread evenly.
The US is the 9th richest nation in the world.

That’s GDP per capital. I’m talking about total wealth, which is about a third of the world’s total wealth.
