XP when I started going main on Linux. Windows 7 was the last version I had installed for games on a dual boot. Linux was always just more fun. I always felt like it was my computer and I wasn’t constantly fighting the computer to make it work for me. Going to a tiling window manager was the point of no return though, my workflow changed so much that my productivity outside a tiling window manager plummeted.
So, what you are saying is that all the people using steam combined might make it to the top 100 list of billionaires if their unplayed games were personified?

Ideally search engines could leverage the answeroverflow API to help people get access to the technical discussion that now happens in discord instead of forums or mailinglists which do come up in search engine results.
People are already dying. Our existing system which is built on exploitation causes countless people to be sacrificed to support the way we live right now. How many people are you willing to sacrifice with poisoned waterways and medical conditions caused by unsafe working conditions, as mentioned in the article?

I’m ready to start taking steps toward a society that does not exploit people or the earth, if that means our lifespan is impacted, I’ll take that as fallout. Obviously I’d give up more of my own lifestyle as an able bodied person to support others and provide whatever I can for a just society. So yeah, if we can’t do this together, I’d rather not do it at all.
Well, you answered your own question. We need to give up on “modern society” if our way of living can’t change to ease the exploitation of peoples and the earth, we shouldn’t partake.
Tutanota doesn’t have a good way to export emails in bulk. Their feature set is getting richer, but once invested, the exit cost is quite high, speaking from experience.
mailbox.org has pretty good pgp key integration and will encrypted all emails that come in with a public key of your choosing.
Both of these statements are statistically correct
Nah dude, it is only “bad” and “has no value” in this capitalist economy. Keep making art, it is valuable.
Someone please make /c/polymorpheddragon
This is a bit unhinged but it is really quite correct.

I my experience it generally breaks it. Leveraging cookies on the auth domain is fine, but once you are redirected to another domain, that application needs to take the access and refresh tokens and manage reauthentication as a background process. Simply don’t store those things as cookies though.
