The 52-year-old disputes the county’s claim that she responded to the jury duty summons by saying she was not a citizen.
It’s by her account that she had called in and that’s how she got flagged. I’m a bit disinclined to take her word for it.
You’re using logic, that’s beyond these people
Feels like all the devs who left id software and started their own companies back in the day
A car is a box on wheels that I only interact with through its controls. It ain’t petty to demand that those controls respond quickly and reliably.
she had been flagged after she indicated that she was not a U.S. citizen in response to a jury summons
LOL, get rekt ya dumdum. That’ll show you for trying to shirk your civic duty by lying.
I think this election is likely to be so close that a lot of the common sense logic goes out the window. Who knows what will motivate the 10,000 or so voters who will make the difference in the swing states that decide the election?

Honest question: is it physically possibly to step on one’s own nutsack? Do I have to dislocate my pelvis or something?
I am mentally preparing myself for one or more recounts in the critical swing states. I highly doubt we’ll know the winner before December.
I think the issue is that the film industry has moved thanks to other states/countries tax credits. https://www.atlantanewsfirst.com/2023/09/13/georgia-film-space-projected-overtake-california-top-spot/
If California does nothing it’ll just accelerate. And yeah the film industry enriches a bunch of rich assholes further but it also pays a ton of regular folks’ salaries too.
The share of words associated with violence rose from almost 0.6% in 2016 to 1.6% in 2024 in Trump’s speeches. As a comparison, the proportion of violent words in 40 randomly chosen weekly radio addresses by Barack Obama was 0.79%
Obama more violent than 2016 Trump confirmed. /s
Better be Madden ‘96
Yeah the NYT, despite its flaws, isn’t beholden to a single person.
Yeah but that’s not the choice offered to you. And you can only make the choices you are offered.
What a fucking Bezos Bezos is.
Bernie was never more right about the billionaires
I mean their new chips look like hot garbage so…not sure if they’re gonna have any good outcomes for a while
