Ex commercial (sourdough) Baker here. Cast iron will be handed down to your children’s children.
What we used was basic (good quality) sheet metal bread pans. Avoid coatings, or anything fancy… Sure they may do something in the short term… But… Same with pyrex. They used to be good, but quality has gone way down in the past 20 years, and you have to be real careful with them, like they’re made of glass or something ;)
This is one place, where possibly the cheapest option is what will win the day. Keep it simple silly :) don’t overthinking it, get something, and get baking!
Have you ever tried Linux?
I feel like this is the new version of “bum fights”
If you’re butthole squeaks… Please see a medical professional
This guy has a good financial planner.
I for one, will advocate for the separation of kernel and church.
That absolutely does. As much as I loved the ship one, and would love to find that one, I found the concept a very healthy way to wake up. Didn’t panicked you, just got you up. Sorry, I may be living under a rock, is a one plus a phone? Or app?
This may sound dumb… An old Samsung phone I had years ago, came with alarms that gradually faded in. The most memorable, started with the ocean, and the seagulls… Then there was a fog horn in the distance. Slowly the horn got closer, and closer… Until it was all you could hear, and your alarm was going off.
I’ve looked everywhere for the sound file… It must be Locked away in a basement at Samsung somewhere.
One day I’ll find it
IM SO HAPPY SKELETOR MADE IT TO LENNY SAFE AND SOUND!!! AND IT’S BACK! made my day

I use Firefox as well. My uneducated concern. I once installed Chrome on my PC for something specific. During the install, it asked if I would like to import my saved logins from Firefox. I thought: “let’s see”. In fact, it unencrypted the file, and loaded all my passwords. So, my thought is, of someone was to gain access to that file, how hard would it really be to unencrypted it? If chrome can do it as part of their wizard.
Again, feel free to educate me, but that’s my concern
Kirkland wet wipes.
No name (Superstore brand) hot chocolate. Blows name brand out the water!
We’re the same here on Vancouver Island, large groups in certain areas, rumor has it the largest ‘chapter’ in North America is in Errington.
This has sparked rumors from the Christians, that every cave is full of human sacrificial remains…
We have stopped that try to make it here, but never survive more than a couple years
Wikihow is the biggest dumpster fire of Misinformation… The amount of flat out bullshit that I’ve seen on there is absolutely mind boggling.
Canadian here. Because dentistry. Is. Sales. Not. Healthcare.
It’s all about upselling you on the new toothpaste, the new treatment, the beautox injections, and spending thousands of dollars on that little imperfection.
I think the difference stands in that other parts of the world may still view dentistry mainly as a medical profession. In Canada, that’s the side hustle now.
Disclaimer; I have no experience with dental profession in other countries, just my two cents on dentistry in Canada.
I’ve been amazed at how much “profanity” I’ve seen on Lemmy “all” page already… 6 hours in
I have to say, I loved when you would see some great drawn out thread, with each comment being an ad lib of some song, I always thought those were a lot of fun
I always found the Canada news subs, the only posters were the mods, and everything in there was their political spin on things, trying to push their agenda… I guess what I’m saying is instances shouldn’t be allowed to be an echo chamber for the mods
6 months ago, it’s “we want to scan all devices for CSA media”, 2 months ago, “we want to scan all devices for DRM”, now, “we want to scan all devices for phishing”
They’re just rebranding the same thing over and over till nobody says anything… Get ready for it, guys, the end of privacy is here.
