Yeah definitely that’s how I understood it, but now it sounds like they are categorizing Hispanic as a race not an ethnicity.

I know this isn’t that important in the grand scheme of things, but I will always be confused on what to put for myself. My family comes from Central America (I have dual citizenship), so I should pick Hispanic, right? But my family is also white Hispanic, my cousin’s have a range of blonde and red hair, light eyes. I also have some Asian Hispanics in my family.
Hispanic really isn’t a race and it feels like I’m not supposed to pick it on the census because I don’t have the right skin color.
Whereas someone who does look Hispanic the way people think of, but maybe their family hasn’t lived there for generations, they get to be considered more Hispanic than me. It’s just confusing.
If it’s to hang out with friends then those private karaoke rooms are a lot of fun
I just discovered Ground News. It’s interesting because they rate news articles from sources based on their biases and factuality.
So for example they will post a headline and list all the news sources reporting on it and rate how left or right leaning it is overall, plus they seem to do a good job with rating how factual it is. I’ve found it helpful and what I was craving from the news.
This makes me think of the time I went to a haunted maze type place. The friend I was with was pretty terrified (normal reaction) and when one of the costume monsters chased her into a corner with her hiding her face and screaming, a bunch of random people started filming her and putting their phones basically in her face. I yelled at them to leave and they just started filming me.
I just imagine how many YouTube and TikTok videos we are in without us knowing.
I always suspected a majority of posts in AITA the sub were fiction (either human made or AI). So anything to get away from that I’m all for.
Another interesting tidbit is her father was Lord Byron, the famous poet. He actually abandoned her and her mom after birth. This made Ada become more math oriented since her mom wanted her to be independent and a logical thinker.
So there were NO guards watching the future king heir?? Wondering if that will be a plot point next week.
Also why is there almost no discussion here? It’s a popular show and thought there would be more activity…
