I considered lemmy.ml at first, but it had a message asking people to sign up on a different instance because they were overloaded. I chose lemmy.world because the admins had experience running a decently sized Mastodon server.
I’m pretty sure that 70MB is including the entire .NET standard library, which is massive. Enabling NativeAOT or trimming reduces the size down to a few MB
It’s a shame it can’t be included in the mainline kernel. Especially over what seems to be a legal technicality.
