The Maverick is (comparatively) a small modern pickup. It’s the whole reason I chose it. I always wanted a truck, but I absolutely detested how big and inefficient they were, so I never bothered. I had a Maverick come in for a remote start last year and got to look at it and I quite liked it, ended up ordering one of my own that same year.
That whole episode was gold.
Your post has me wanting to do a rewatch of the series. I should see if any of the streaming services I’m on has that series on there.
My favorite games as a child growing up in the 90s:
Zelda OoT
Super Mario 64
Pokemon Red
Zelda OoA/OoS
Though after later playing Final Fantasy 7 in 2003 that quickly captivated me and became really special to me. It was my first Final Fantasy I ever played and one of my most cherished games to this day.
Also, while I never played the original 90s game, I absolutely adored Black Mesa and the Half Life franchise. It was damn impressive what Valve accomplished with the original Half Life back then.
Not OP, but you tend to see these kinds of shenanigans from phones that are locked to carriers, the carriers are the ones who end up pushing the apps onto the phone during an update.
Sprint was pretty bad with their bloat ware back in the day, when I made the switch from my Sprint-locked S6 to my unlocked Pixel 1, I never had that problem again.
My mom and dad have unlocked S22’s and they don’t have these issues as far as I’m aware. I know if my dad did he would have complained about it.
I do this all time! The powder coating on my toolbox causes nearly every sticker to not adhere correctly, the magnetic tape solves that problem every time. It’s great stuff.
The job I recently started has three 3D printers that I’ve started tinkering with. They’re very handy, I started trying to use one of the modeling softwares we also use (Solidworks). I haven’t designed much, but I have finally designed something that would be for me personally; I got a figure of Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7 recently and the pegs on his stand are too small, so he doesn’t stand on there securely. I’ve yet to print it out to make sure my new measurements work, but the fact that I can just whip something on the computer and the printer makes it into reality is still something that makes me very excited.
I’ve bought my own printer, but I’m still waiting on Prusa to ship it out.
I’m primarily a lurker. Back on Reddit I’d create posts here and there, but I’d mostly contribute to discussion fairly often. I only had around like 28k karma from comments over the course of 11 years, so I wasn’t super prolific by any means.
I miss how big the community was on Reddit at times. I’m still trying to figure Lemmy out. Trying to figure out how to make the instances work on the app can be frustrating, but I really hope to see Lemmy grow into a proper competitor and become more polished and robust. I like it so far, it shows promise.
It depends on the bot, but yeah I’ve tried this a couple times that I was frustrated.
The second I said “put a fucking human on,” the bot immediately responded with “let me get someone for you.”
Doesn’t always work, I’ve had some that just said “I don’t understand.”
Agreed, I also miss the feature of being able to extend a screenshot on a page.
But uBO is a necessity now to browse the Internet. The ads are so bad now.
