Probably a loving partner, and enough therapy to be able to have a healthy relationship. But that’s a lot of work, so I mostly try to be happy in my solitude.
It helps, but then you have to supplant your own meaning life, or one can very quickly spiral into doing nothing and becoming depressed. Capitalism sucks, but work doesn’t; it gives us direction and purpose.
The bigger the artist, the more likely they are to have a crew handling their gear. It is probably in whatever trailer or van they use to transport the gear when not on stage, then on/around the stage pretty quickly once the artist gets to the next city.
That may be what I was thinking of. I actually never played Quake, I just knew it was groundbreaking

Come up with a reasonable replacement product, and do it through an ethical company, and people might switch. But you’re not gonna convince people to give up the convenience they’ve relied on for a decade without a really good reason, and “this company is evil” is way too esoteric for most people.

This is a bit dependant on the people. The real trick is communicating and being on the same page, like everything in a relationship.
