eBay is still the only game in town for a lot of items. Vintage record albums to name one.

Aside from some of the other reason already talked about, a lot of people are delusional. They think their second hand trash is worth millions.

Saw a person trying to sell a “Rare” Cinderella Black Diamond VHS tape for $400. Those things are a dime a dozen and you get one for $10.00

  • I’ve actually been printing more at home over the past couple of years than I ever had before. Both as a hobby and for my son’s school stuff. The trick is to buy those after market inks on ebay. I use the Canon PIXMA series and can get 5 packs of all 4 colors for ~$20.00us. I tried the refillable cartridges, but the effort and mess isn’t worth it.

The only thing with the printers is the print heads seem to clog too easily. Need to make sure you’re using it regularly.

  • That’s what pisses me off about the Gadsden flag.

The flag has been described as the “most popular symbol of the American revolution”. Its design proclaims an assertive warning of vigilance and willingness to act in defense against coercion. This has led it to be associated with the ideas of individualism and liberty.

These are some of the ideals that I favor and stand behind. But now the right wing loonies have corrupted it and use it for their own purposes.

  • This how they operate. Even though I work from home, I was being completely overworked and stressed out at the end of last year. As soon as my 401k match went through at the beginning of January, I turned in my notice without a new job lined up. I did do one video interview, but didn’t get the gig.

On my very last day of employment I was contacted by a zone vp and asked to stay. He offered a new position for a pilot they were rolling out and about a $10k increase. I took it. It’s been a lot better, but still sucks so I interviewed with someone else today. Point is, that these big corporations don’t really give a shit about there employees. Regardless of what they say or the BS they plaster all over their websites and social media. You are disposable and they will take advantage of you at every opportunity.

It’s a shitty way to do business, but it’s up to the individual to look out for themselves and be willing to take some risks. Work hard and learn as much as possible. Make yourself invaluable and you’ll be in a lot better position to make it
