Russia is still selling their gas and oil, just through an intermediary and their economy has been almost unphased despite an initial drop at the beginning of the 2020 offensive. Russia had only money to lose by blowing up it’s own oil pipeline, the U.S. has benefited immensely through oil/gas sales to countries affected.
