    People get addicted when it’s illegal, too.

    The point of legalization is harm reduction. Purity and correct dosages printed on the product, produced by a publicly accountable organization.

    Cocaine cut with even more toxic chemicals, in unknown dosages that could make an experienced user OD is a problem today.

    Legalization advocates aren’t promoting cocaine, they are suggesting that it’s better that the industry is regulated because it’s never gone away despite prohibition.

    Same reason alcohol prohibition ended, not because alcohol is healthy, and even though it’s addictive- prohibition made all the problems worse.

      People also confuse legalisation with general availability. The two are not synonymous.
