That would explain the still relatively high number of supporters the Kremlin still enjoys while also a big chunk of the population wants an end to the war. I think there’s a big overlap between the two groups, which might explain my initial point.
However, if ending the war would include Russia returning the territories that it has occupied and annexed throughout the conflict, only a third (34 percent) of respondents said they would support that decision.
