It means you can turn an iPhone into a HD video recorder from an external camera or video source! As a Steadicam operator this is huge!
Except atmos can’t run apps, doesn’t have an IMU with compas/accelerometer/gyroscope, doesn’t have wifi/Bluetooth. I’ve been working on some projects that include some video processing other than just recording video feed.

As in, like an Atmos?!

Also just like in this use case, I can stream the video feed via FaceTime, Atomos can’t.
