I’m in the vast minority here, but I can’t understand a word that Daniel Craig is speaking in these movies, I sat in the theater watching Knives Out and felt as if I was tripping my balls off, I looked around at other people who seemed to be enjoying his performance, but every time I turned to the screen to watch, honest to god, I didn’t understand a fucking word that came out of his mouth. I’ve lived all over the United States, and had friends with thick southern drawls, and who spoke New Orleans creole patois, and his was just so fucking out there, I couldn’t understand, and it completely distracted me from whatever the story was. Tried watching the Netflix Glass Onion, and that got another nope from me, Danny. Can’t do it. Tried. My brain won’t allow it.

Huh. English is my third language and, sure, the accent is quite thick, but I have no problem understanding him.

Brad Pitt in Snatch, now… he is completely unintelligible to me.

I’m not American, and English isn’t my first language, but I had zero problems understanding him in those movies.

I think it’s like an old school Georgian (the US state) accent. I have family from that area that sound exactly like that. I don’t have a problem understanding it for that reason but i could totally see not knowing wtf he’s saying. Just wanted to say there are indeed people that sound like that in case people thought it was just a British person putting on a bad southern accent.
