    Russia says…

    Why is it anytime I see those words together, I think the exact opposite of what it is trying to convey?

      Was about to say the same thing, but with the caveat that in THIS particular case, they’re probably telling the truth since it’s not in the interest of Putin to let him live.

      Might have even been alive when they first found him in the wreckage but not after they’d “assessed his injuries”.

      Btw, just in case there’s any doubt: it’s a great thing for the world in general that this awful neonazi is dead, in spite of it benefitting Putin.

        Oh for sure, I don’t doubt at all he’s dead, it’s just any information russia freely gives usually is for a specific reason only. IN this case it’s probably sending a message that if you pull shit against russia, windows in tall buildings may not be your only worry.
