I don’t really see Pedro as Reed at all. But he’s talented so I’m gonna trust that he can slide into the role.

The only thing is that I thought Reed would be younger

I hope he does the thickest, most “r”-rollingest Spanish accent possible for the role.

And then drop a line about how Scotty D. can eat the biggest turd sandwich ever.

He has been tapped, but AFAICT not confirmed yet.

Something that I find interesting is that he is a superb parent/father character actor (I.e.: Joel and Mando), so a possible older Reed with Valeria and Franklin is a very interesting take.
