Appreciate open source projects, but…
The descriptions on its Github page looks heavily AI generated. It uses a whole lot of words to say very few things.
Would benefit from having a few screenshots instead of walls of text.
Also, it is just a Lemmy client for now, so just call it one instead of “connect to the fediverse”.
No, It’s not AI generated. There’s a GIF in Readme but I think screenshot would be nice. Techincally, It’s a Fediverse client.
Fun Fact: There are people using pretty obscure client to connect to Fediverse xD.
One more thing It will support Mastodon in Future. So, It does make sense why dev uses “Fediverse client” to describe this project instead of “Lemmy client”.
Currently it’s just a Lemmy client. It’ll be cool to watch the development, but at present I don’t see how it’s any better than voyager. At least on mobile the interface has a lot more dead space than voyager.
It looks very nice too.
Interesting to see a client with an non hostile algorithm. It would be cool if algorithms where separate the clients and you could choose to use Quiblrs sorting method on another app.
